Vandy Vape Jackaroo Pod Kit: Features and First Impressions

Product intro and specs

The Jackaroo Pod Kit is the latest pod-based AIO from popular manufacturer Vandyvape. The Jackaroo line has become very popular—and for good reason. In essence, Vandy Vape designed a competitor to the Geekvape Aegis line, but with a more ergonomic shape. Both the original Jackaroo and the Jackaroo Dual have been great rugged IP67 shock and water-resistant mods, and this time they applied the same design properties to a pod system.

I have only been using the Jackaroo Pod Kit for three days now, so this is just a hands-on preview of the device. Keep reading to find out some of its standout features and what I think of it so far.

This device was sent to me by MyVpro, where it will soon be available for purchase.

Vandy Vape Jackaroo Pod Kit features

Anyone who has ever used a vape mod before will be able to use this pod system. It’s fully adjustable between 5-70 watts in one-watt increments. It features a large bright color screen, an internal 2000 mAh battery, 1.5-amp fast charging, and it is IP67 rated for shock, water, and dust resistance. Like the rest of the Jackaroo line, it features a silica gel coating around the frame and nice textured panels. It’s available in eight colors, however most colors are primarily black with the difference being the panel designs.

The real bulk of the features of this kit though is the many different ways to vape it. While the retail kit will come with two coils, the review kit came with all five options. It features coils good for as low as 7-13 watts for MTL and as high as 35-60 watts for DL, with three more options in the middle—two MTL and three DL coils in total. It also includes different drip tips for MTL and DL and a DIY coil option, so you can build your own if you don’t want to use premade coils. Tons of options in this pod kit. It also features fully adjustable airflow to further finetune your vape experience.

First impressions

I’ve used and reviewed both previous Jackaroo devices, but this is the first pod they’ve come out with. My impression of the line is that they are great devices and so far, the pod hasn’t disappointed—although I am pretty early in the review process. The generous 4.5 mL capacity pods last a really long time with the MTL coils, and the same goes for the internal battery. Easily an all-day vape in MTL.

The soft coating gives you a good grip and it’s comfy in the hands. As for size, it’s not as small as your average pod but it’s not large either. About the same size as a compact single-18650 mod with an atomizer on top. Very easy to pocket. As long as the coils are good, I think Vandy Vape will have a real winner here. It is a very versatile device, with options that suit the needs of the majority of vapers. I will continue testing this device and plan to post a full review in the coming weeks.
